Klipsch Stream Utility: Firmware Update App for Klipsch Stream Devices
The Klipsch Stream Utility is an Android app developed by Klipsch that allows users to update the firmware on their Klipsch RW-1 Wireless Speaker, Klipsch PowerGate, or Klipsch Gate devices. This free app is specifically designed for use with Klipsch Stream products and provides an easy way to ensure that your devices are running the latest firmware.
With the Klipsch Stream Utility, users can update the firmware on their RW-1 Wireless Speaker, PowerGate, or Gate to take advantage of the latest features and improvements. The current version of the app includes firmware update support for the following devices:
- RW-1 Firmware Version 0.37: Users can now use the RW-1 wireless speakers as wireless rear surrounds with a Klipsch RSB-14 or RSB-8 sound bar. To enable this feature, users must also update the firmware on their Klipsch RSB-14 or RSB-8 sound bar.
- PowerGate Firmware Version 1.034: This update enables discrete IR code controls for third-party integration via IR of the PowerGate and also adds the Critical Listening mode. Various bug fixes are also included.
- Gate Firmware Version 1.27: This update includes various bug fixes for improved performance.
